Guests must either opt in for a $45 non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company, OR authorize a refundable temporary $500 security deposit hold–not a traditional security deposit, not an actual charge, released if no damage/excessive cleaning! The optional damage waiver is $45 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $2 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. To make this process easy for you, we use a secure and very simple, app-free platform called Happy Guest. It is not an app, and you do not have to sign up for an account -- it’s a safe and secure website. It also gives you a guest portal with all the info about the home and all of our favorite local spots. ~Vacationing with Pets~ * We welcome up to 2 house-trained dogs of non-aggressive breeds, ages 2 or older. (Sorry, no cats or any other animals!) * Contact us for pet approval–Proofs of recent rabies shot and vet-grade flea/tick medications, Pet Rules and Pet Fee apply. * Be sure to add the number of pets in your booking request so the $200 Pet Fee for up to 2 dogs for the entire stay is properly included in your booking amount. * We provide a 24”x36” kennel, 2 dog bowls and poop bags. ~Check-in and Check-Out~ Standard check-in time is 4:00 PM and check-out is 10:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out may be available for a small fee, subject to cleaning schedules. Availability is confirmed the day prior. ~Refunds~ Direct bookings provide guests with the best rates by avoiding platform service fees. While we strive to ensure a perfect stay, we cannot offer refunds for circumstances beyond our control, such as weather conditions or personal reasons.
